Shark Series
The Shark Series hulls have been specifically designed by famed Naval Architect Britt Chance to provide a more comfortable and stable rowing platform while maintaining outstanding performance characteristics.
The hull shape is optimised to minimise drag - both viscous and wave making - and to reduce added drag due to motions caused by crew movements.
The result is an easy to row, stable, long-running boat.
Shark Features
Speed & Stability: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) optimization employed to create faster and more forgiving hulls
Speed: hull form creates more hydrodynamic lift providing a more responsive and lighter feel
Stability: unprecedented reduction in pitching (longitudinal) and roll (side to side tipping)
Comfort: wider, deeper, adjustable foot stance allowing optimal gender specific force application
Comfort: wider slide tracks allow leg lockout, eliminating calve bruising and slide bites
Shark Construction
Super Predator
Hudson has adapted aerospace technology using New SHARK carbon and a honeycomb core, to create a hull that is 4 times more impact resistant, and 50% stiffer than previous Elite construction. Setting a new standard.
Predator
A multi-layer, cored single skin made with infused proprietary carbon material. Same fast hull shape with the best stiffness and durability of any alternative line in the industry
