In Saturday's finals, Canada's Women's Four kicked it off for the Shark crews earning a Bronze Medal.

On Sunday, in the span of four races, Sharks medalled three times. The US Lightweight Women's Quad fought from behind to finish with a Bronze medal. The US Men's Lightweight Eight, not to be outdone, finished one better with a Silver Medal. Racing in front of the home crowd the Polish Lightweight Women's Double took the early lead in their race. It appeared as though this early lead might cost them, but they gave those in the stands a reason to cheer as they mananged to come back to get their bow ahead of the British Crew by two one hundredths of a second to take the Silver medal.
